Information Update
1) We are still open during normal distribution hours. We are taking extraordinary precautions to protect our volunteers but we are distributing food. Also while our supplies are being taxed we are working with several sources to maintain our normal distributions.
2) We are providing "Day Boxes" to the local State Dept of Health, and area Churches upon request. These boxes contain Pedialyte, Ensure, Soup, Crackers, Granola Bars, Fruit Cup for assistance to Seniors who are shut in or dealing with compromised immune systems. Any Church or group willing to distribute them may have some.
3) We have a supply of portable, non perishable boxes with 7 meals in them for those who are shut in and can't come in to get a regular distribution of food or who are shut in for health reasons.

We are working with various organizations and State officials to put together a plan to make food available for the Children of Terrebonne Parish who are not getting a good meal outside of normal school lunch programs. I cannot give out details but we are working diligently on addressing that problem.

Please continue to keep the Foodbank, its volunteers and its staff in your prayers and in your heart. Everyone here is working above and beyond to support those in need in this parish. Lawrence DeHart Executive Director
